🇬🇧 Both the students of first of ESO and the director of this school have been involved in this long-term project along the entire duration of this course.

On the first trimester, the students started by making visual posters about what stuff can be used for composing and how does the composter really work. Then, they put into function the composters and did a bunch of activities from that. 🍏

They have made their own song, presentations to other pupils of the centre from several courses; from primary to secondary school, as well as games related with the expositions presented.

Diving into the second trimester, the project continues. They turned on the composters for a second time. They prepared a different, separated bin for the students to throw away there their organic waste: fruit peeling, fruit pits, fruit cores, food in general… Later, they have used that to create compost for the field that they’re taking care of in the centre.🌲

🇪🇸 Tanto los alumnos de primero de la ESO como el director del colegio han estado involucrados en este proyecto a largo plazo durante la duración completa de este curso.

En el primer trimestre, los estudiantes empezaron por hacer posters visuales sobre que cosas se pueden utilizar para compostar y como funciona realmente un compostador. Entonces, pusieron en marcha los compostadores e hicieron un montón de actividades sobre ello.🍏

Han hecho su propia canción, presentaciones para los otros estudiantes de diferentes cursos; desde primaria hasta secundaria, como juegos relacionados con las exposiciones presentadas.

Adentrándonos en el segundo trimestre, el proyecto continua. Encendieron los compostadores una segunda vez. Prepararon una basura diferente y separada para que los estudiantes tiraran ahí sus deshechos orgánicos; peladuras de fruta, huesos de fruta, corazón de fruta, comida en general… Después han usado eso para crear compost para el huerto que están cuidando en el centro.🌲
